Gloria Angela Gray, a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, is the holder of a B.Sc. degree in Sociology from the University of the West Indies with Upper Second Class Honours, and a M. Sc. degree in Sociology with specialisation in Social Psychology.

Ms. Gray has worked as a full-time Teaching Assistant at the University of the West Indies in General Psychology, Sociological Theory and Criminology, and part-time Teaching Assistant at the same University in Sociology.

She also worked as a Research Assistant in the Sociology Unit of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNECLAC) in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

In 1989 Ms. Gray served on a Cabinet appointed Committee that was established to examine trade union problems and workers’ complaints as they related to the problem of poverty in Trinidad and Tobago.

Currently, and since 1991, Ms. Gray has been involved on a full-time basis with Christian Counselling and the Deliverance Ministry, activities aimed at the healing, restoration and growth of those in need.

Being the spouse of a career diplomat, Ms. Gray has travelled widely and resided in diverse countries including Switzerland, England, Venezuela and Guyana.

She possesses a good reading knowledge of French and is fluent in Spanish.
