MOU signed towards improved justice service delivery
The Conference of the Heads of Judiciary of CARICOM and the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S.-based National Center for State Courts (NCSC) at the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) headquarters in Port of Spain on Monday 29th October 2012.
The MOU allows for cooperation in implementing justice sector reform and enhancing the administration of justice within the Caribbean. Under the MOU, the CCJ will have responsibility to design and implement justice reform programmes through a shared vision with the mentorship and transfer of knowledge and expertise provided by the NCSC.
