Judgment in Jamaica’s application for leave to intervene in Myrie v Barbados

On 27th September 2012, at the conclusion of a hearing by video conference, the CCJ granted leave to Jamaica to intervene in the proceedings brought by Shanique Myrie against Barbados for relief for treatment she alleged was meted out to her by the Barbados Customs and Immigration officials in breach in the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas. On the 26th day of October the Court issued its reasons in writing.
