The 11th Annual Caribbean Court of Justice International Law Moot Court takes place on March 21 and 22, 2019 at the Court’s headquarters in Port of Spain. The Law Moot has been extended to 2 days for this staging because of increased interest in the competition. Nine teams will compete in this year’s event. The Court’s last competition, which was won by the Norman Manley Law School from Jamaica, had eight teams from law schools and faculties from around the region. Those interested can view the live broadcast of the presentation between the final two teams, as well as, the delivery of the judgment and the prize ceremony on Friday, 22nd March at 3 pm AST. The Norman Manley Law School bested seven other law faculties and schools from across the region to win the 10th Annual Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) Law Moot Competition in 2018 at the CCJ headquarters in Trinidad. The winning team comprised: Mr. Luke Cooke, Mr. Jovan Bowes, Mr. Samuel Bailey and their advisor, Ms. Tara Carnegie (2nd right).
