On Wednesday, 26 June 2024, the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) varied the decision of the Court of Appeal of Belize to send back to the High Court the assessment of compensation for compulsory acquisition of land, and itself assessed the compensation that should be paid by the Government of Belize.
