On Thursday, 27 June 2024, the Caribbean Court of Justice (“CCJ”) dismissed the appeal of Ramon Gaskin against the Minister of Natural Resources of Guyana, stating that the grant of the Petroleum Production Licence (“licence”) was lawful, and that there was no increased risk of environmental harm.
