From 15-20 January 2026, the Honourable Mr Justice Winston Anderson, President of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) and Mrs Gabrielle Figaro-Jones, Registrar and Chief Marshal, paid a visit to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member State of Barbados. During the visit, President Anderson delivered the keynote address at the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute’s (CANARI’s) Partners Forum on climate justice in the Caribbean. Additionally, courtesy calls were paid on key public officials of Barbados, including His Excellency Lt. Col. Jeffrey Bostic, FB, MVO, President; the Honourable Mia Mottley, SC, MP, Prime Minister; the Honourable Mr Justice Leslie Haynes, Chief Justice; and the Honourable Ralph Thornes, KC, MO, Leader of the Opposition.
