Biography
Hon. Mr. Justice C. Dennis Morrison, (Ret’d) OJ CD QC was educated at the University of the West Indies, the Norman Manley Law School and Oxford University (Jamaica Rhodes Scholar, 1975). He was called to the Bar in Jamaica in 1975 and practiced law with the firm of Dunn, Cox & Orrett for over 25 years. In 1994 he was appointed Queen’s Counsel. In 2008 he was appointed to the Court of Appeal (COA) of Jamaica and in 2016 he was appointed President of the COA. Justice Morrison served as a judge of the COA of Belize (2004-2015); acted as a judge of the Eastern Caribbean COA (January 2015); and has been a judge of the COA of the Cayman Islands since May 2015.
